Winter Waltz

2 oz (60 ml) Bulleit Rye Whiskey
½ oz (15 ml) Amaro Averna
¼ oz (7 ml) St. Elizabeth’s Allspice Dram
2 dashes DeGroff’s Pimento Bitters
Star anise, for garnish
Add all ingredients except garnish into a shaker. Shake and strain into a chilled
cocktail glass. Garnish with star anise.

ReplyDeleteI don't know that I've ever actually had a cocktail w/ whiskey. i'm wimpy like that. I always went the vodka route when mixing up a concoction but I've always wanted to be brave and try whiskey.
