The Tilted Tea in Honor of National Whiskey Day

By: The Food Hunter

National Whiskey Day is tomorrow and what better way to celebrate than with a classic drink featuring a whiskey kick?

The Tilted Kilt, an Arizona sports bar that combines Celtic décor, humorous limericks and sexy cast members with great food, drinks and fun, takes your traditional Long Island Iced Tea and kicks it up a notch with their own version called a Tilted Tea. The refreshing drink blends four different kinds of liquor, including Whiskey, with Triple Sec for that sweet flavor you’ll want to sip on all day long.

Tilted Tea
½ oz. Three Olives Naked Vodka
½ oz. of Tanqueray Gin
½ oz. Bacardi Superior Rum
½ oz. Triple Sec
½ oz. Bushmills Whiskey

Pour the vodka, gin, rum, and whiskey into a 14 ounce glass with ice. Then, fill the glass with Triple Sec and a dash of sweet and sour. Garnish with a lemon wedge, add a straw and enjoy!

  2. Whoa. A Tilted Tea sounds like a simultaneously delicious and dangerous sipper.
