The Tilted Tea in Honor of National Whiskey Day

By: The Food Hunter

National Whiskey Day is tomorrow and what better way to celebrate than with a classic drink featuring a whiskey kick?

The Tilted Kilt, an Arizona sports bar that combines Celtic d├ęcor, humorous limericks and sexy cast members with great food, drinks and fun, takes your traditional Long Island Iced Tea and kicks it up a notch with their own version called a Tilted Tea. The refreshing drink blends four different kinds of liquor, including Whiskey, with Triple Sec for that sweet flavor you’ll want to sip on all day long.

Tilted Tea
½ oz. Three Olives Naked Vodka
½ oz. of Tanqueray Gin
½ oz. Bacardi Superior Rum
½ oz. Triple Sec
½ oz. Bushmills Whiskey

Pour the vodka, gin, rum, and whiskey into a 14 ounce glass with ice. Then, fill the glass with Triple Sec and a dash of sweet and sour. Garnish with a lemon wedge, add a straw and enjoy!

  2. Whoa. A Tilted Tea sounds like a simultaneously delicious and dangerous sipper.
