The final seven episodes of Mad Men premiers on Sunday April 5th, so there's no better time than now to celebrate the end of an era. Bloggers from around the world are coming together to create a memorable Mad Men Virtual Party with food and drink recipes from The Unofficial Mad Men Cookbook, by Judy Gelman & Peter Zehutlin. (enter below to win a copy)

From the very first season Mad Men has intertwined food and drink into just about every episode and has helped to create the modern cocktail scene. Making popular once again drinks such as the Old Fashioned & Manhattan.

No Mad Men event would be complete without easy to prepare appetizers and cocktails that feature swizzle sticks and fruit garnish. So grab your friends, pour yourself a cocktail, light up a Lucky Strike and #PartyLikeAMadMan
The retro crowd pleasing menu below is what I will be serving on April 5th!

Cocktails
Tom Collins
Side Car
Royal Hawaiin
Manhattan
Old Fashioned

Hor d'oeuvres

ReplyDeleteI'm so torn about Mad Men. I really hated that they split the last season - and it wasn't even much to write home about, in my opinion. Lots of loose ends and weird developments. I love your photos, though (the one with the cigarette -- not a common sight these days haha!!) The cook book looks awesome and I'm always up for classic cocktails!
ReplyDeleteI always need a new cookbook! :D The food pics are amazing!!
ReplyDeleteSo fun! I want to have a Mad Man party to sip on cocktails and hold a cigarette ;)
