Steak Stuffed Mushrooms Topped With Yogurt Horseradish Sauce #RecipeMakeOver

By: The Food Hunter

Stuffed mushrooms are a classic starter found on most Italian-American restaurant menus. These bite sized appetizers are often times stuffed with bread crumbs, cheese, and other delicious items which combined makes the vegetable a not so healthy snack.

In order to make this appetizer a bit more nutritious I decided to stuff the mushrooms with just steak topped with a yogurt horseradish sauce. They were so good I don't think I will ever eat regular stuffed mushrooms again.

Steak Stuffed Mushrooms Topped With Yogurt Horseradish Sauce

1 package baby bella mushrooms
1 pound stir fry meat
plain Greek yogurt
horseradish
salt & pepper

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Remove stems from mushrooms and discard. Place mushrooms on a oiled baking sheet.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Bake for 15 minutes and set aside.

In the meantime mix enough horseradish into the yogurt until to desired tanginess is reached.

Cook beef stir fry meat in a medium pan until done. Season meat with salt & pepper. Stuff mushrooms with meat and top with a dollop of horseradish sauce.
