Salut Kitchen & Wine Bar, the hip wine bar located
in Tempe, recently celebrated it's two year anniversary and we were there to help kick it off.
The 3,400 square foot restaurant and bar, located between the infamous Mill
Avenue and Tempe Marketplace, offers sophisticated-yet-affordable authentic
food such as bruschetta, gourmet tapas, salads, sandwiches, entrees and an
extensive wine and cocktail selection that suits anyone looking for a memorable
dining experience.
We started with the hummus nachos, and they were amazing!
The pomegranate seeds add a nice twist to your typical hummus and pita.
Next up was the quinoa fritters: fried quinoa, dill Havarti, red onion, red pepper and fried crimini were the perfect addition to the hummus nachos as a starter.
While visiting Salut, check out the Mediterranean Chicken Kabobs. These kabobs contain chicken, tomato, red onion and bell peppers, served on a bed of pita, hummus and tzatziki sauce. This is a nice mix of two great dishes!
End your meal with a serving of table-side s’mores – and you feel like a kid again!
Salut Kitchen Bar offers a wide array of flavorful and
innovative menu items inspired by a mix of Mediterranean and American cuisine. Be sure to stop in the next time you are find yourself in Tempe.
