Butternut Squash & Bacon Casserole & A Farberware Giveaway

Starting with turkey at Thanksgiving, through cookies at Christmas and right on to champagne at New Years, the holidays are a nostalgic time of year when families come together to eat, drink and be merry! For those of us in charge of holiday meals this time of year can also be somewhat stressful. Preparing a few dishes in advance can help alleviate stress and allow for more time to spend with family and friends.



The Butternut Squash & Bacon Casserole I created for Farberware, using several pieces from their stylish 15 piece dishwasher-safe set, is a simple dish that will compliment most holiday meals. The casserole is prepared in advance and can be popped into the oven a mere hour before serving.

  31. I love butternut squash! I'm not a huge fan of bacon (I'm weird, I know!) but I wonder if this would work with ham or prosciutto - or maybe even pancetta! Yum!

  40. I'm latina, so our go to holiday dish is a big hunk of pork shoulder, slow cooked in the oven until it falls off the bone. I can't wait!! Now to stop on over to Faberware for this delicious looking recipe!

  49. We don't cook with Teflon. Because the taste gets into the food. And because I think it's really not so good for optimal health. Have you looked into this at all? Not to discourage your wonderful giveaway. But I think non-stick pans are really toxic...
