When your husband owns his own BBQ business. My friend Joanne's husband, Chris, has been cooking BBQ out of their home, in Phoenix, for the past 10 years. Chris and his father decided it was time to bring back the family business so a few months ago they opened Town Talk II. (Chris's grandfather owned the original Town Talk)
I ordered the BBQ chicken sandwich and was not disappointed. One of the things that set this sandwich apart from others I've had was the bun. It wasn't your typical soft mushy bun; it had some texture to it. It didn't get soggy from the BBQ sauce which has always been a pet peeve of mine.
The bun looks like a kaiser roll. I like pulled sandwiches with either that or a brioche bun. If you get back to Philly, be sure to try Sweet Lucy's Smokehouse in NE just off of I-95. The pulled pork is fantastic.

It actually wasn't a kaiser roll. I thought the same thing when I first saw it. It's a bit softer than a kaiser but not as soft as a hamburger bun. I'm heading to Philly in a few days. I'll try and check that place out. Thanks for the tip.
